Ride the Mixed Freight
Planes, Trains & Autos is coming to the City of Ipswich this May long weekend and on the First of May Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway is pleased to be offering a REAL freight train experience as part of the event. This diesel hauled trip will recreate the long lost Mixed Freight train with old wagons and vintage vehicles onboard.
Tickets are A$30, Concessions $25, Children $20
Passengers attending Planes, Trains & Autos also have the option to jump on a FREE return heritage bus from the event to Swanbank Station to board the train Buses will depart from the Planes, Trains and Autos event (the Workshops Rail Museum, North Ipswich) at 8:30am, 10:30am & 12:30pm and return following the 1 hour train ride at approximately 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
